Chaplain Kline

My ministry as an Army Chaplain deployed with the 3rd Infantry Division to Iraq is successful, in part, because of the support I receive from you--my family and friends back home. I provide my thoughts and experiences in an effort to share with you the challenges and successes of our shared ministry. (Of course, my thoughts are my own and neither those of the Chaplain Corps nor my denomination.) email me at: chaplain.kline@us.army.mil

About Me

Chaplain Kline
Husband to Dawn Marie (Kozlowski) and father to Benjamin Reid and Jared Scott Kline. I call many places home: Chicago, central Florida, central Utah, and currently: Savannah, GA. I am the oldest of 8 children. My parents--Jim and Vickie--are still raising the two youngest: Rachel & Rusty. All my other siblings are married and have children of their own. I served a two-year enlistment in the active Army as a tanker in Friedberg, Germany from 88-90. Served a mission for the LDS Church in the Philippines from 90-92. Studied English, religion, & philosophy at Florida Southern College and went on to get the Masters of Divinity from the University of Chicago. While in Chicago, my wife and I served as the Residental Managers of the Ronald McDonald House near the University of Chicago Children's Hospital. I had a consulting business working with non-profits and most of the religious communities of metropolitan Chicago: primarily the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago.
